SRP 2012 REVIEW: I loved the characters in this book - you really feel how everyone's life is affected and turned upside down. Jodi Picoult's writing is, as always, absolutely beautiful. I couldn't put it down. Because you're so close to the characters though, the ending is incredibly depressing. Artistically, it's a really well-done ending, but this is not a book that will leave you happy-go-lucky.
