Summary In 1988, the Calek family moved from a suburb of Houston, TX, to a rural Iowa farming community known as Persia. Shortly after, they began experiencing violent paranormal activity unlike anything ever before documented in 130 years of paranormal research. After over a decade's worth of failed attempts to stop the activity, to regain normalcy, the Caleks were eventually forced to abandon their home. In 2009, the youngest son, Chad Calek (Paranormal State), returned to Iowa with his friend, Paranormal Research Society Director, Ryan Buell, determined to unravel the mysteries behind the Calek family's haunting. What Calek and Buell didn't know is that the Calek parents were hiding a terrifying secret- the haunting had followed the Caleks to their new home, where they had been silently suffering for years. What is meant to be a journey through the past, quickly becomes a battle for survival, as Calek and Buell assemble a renowned paranormal investigative team that includes legendary psychic Lorraine Warren, Sergey Poberezhny, Mary Beth Wylie, and more in attempts to end over two decades of tragedy endured by the Calek family.
