| Summary |
John Mason suffers a cruel homecoming when he witnesses his father's murder as he rides into town. To make matters worse, his furious pursuit of the killers is cut short when he suffers a gunshot wound and the killers are able to make their escape. After being wounded, Alice Gordon sees to his injury, and Mason is taken by her kindness and beauty. But things turn sour when her beau, Ben, becomes jealous.
