| Summary |
Elizabeth receives the worst news imaginable when she learns that Jack has died in a landslide. Crushed, she struggles to get through each day. The town comes together to help her in her time of need as Rosemary manages the school and Abigail gathers the widows of the town to impart their wisdom to Elizabeth. Finally finding the strength to read Jack's good-bye letter, Elizabeth realizes that he will always be with her in spirit. |
