According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about 1 in 6, or about 17%, of children aged 3 to 17 years in the U.S. have a one or more developmental disabilities or other developmental delay such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, hearing loss, intellectual disability, learning disability, vision impairment, and other developmental delays. It's important for parents of special needs children, special educators, and therapist to provide the opportunity for special needs children to have fun without the anxiety of being judged by their peers, feel a strong sense of connectedness to their family and peers, and take pride in their performance. The Creative Outlet Method will provide special needs children with opportunities to achieve their academic and social/behavioral goals and objectives in both their educational and social settings. |
