Summary |
In the second series, Julie visits another fantastic collection of cafes. This time, she travels across the Cook Strait to include cafes in the South Island as well the food basket of New Zealand (better known as Hawkes Bay), Christchurch, Napier, Matamata, Ruawai, Nelson, Great Barrier Island, and Auckland. As Julie meets the cafe owners, she persuades them to reveal their signature dishes and tantalizing recipes. And, because cafes are so much more than just somewhere to eat, as Julie visits them, she gets sucked into a wide range of community events, including a Buddha's Birthday celebration, a junior Trans-Tasman rugby match, a Barrier Bloke competition, a Fashion in the Fields contest, and a school art exhibition. |
