| Summary |
Following a year long separation, a successful British novelist and his American movie-actress wife mark their sixth wedding anniversary with a gathering at their exquisite Neutra-designed mountaintop home overlooking Los Angeles. Sally and Joe seem to be the perfect Hollywood couple, but they teeter on the brink of disaster, as do most of their guests. Party favors, in the form of the drug Ecstasy, cause emotions, painful truths and unforeseen incidents to surface as the collective high begins to wear off. |
