| Summary |
When she was a teenager, Anna Sten was already a star in Soviet silent movies. When talking pictures started, she moved to Germany and had an impressive career there as well. Samuel Goldwyn, a prestigious independent Hollywood producer, brought her to Hollywood in the hopes that he had discovered the next Garbo or Dietrich. But the projects he picked for her were all big flops. At the age of 27, she was a has-been and her career never recovered. |
