| Summary |
Twelve-year-old Lonnie had barely glimpsed the world beyond her parents' upper-class New York townhouse, until street-smart 14-year-old Karen reveals an exhilarating, unseen side of city life. Karen's older brother Johnny also sees something special and alluring in the adventurous Lonnie. As their summer draws to an end, the appearence of a seductive older woman brings the three teenagers to an emotionally charged confrontation that threatens their friendship. |
