Summary Following a narrow escape from a trap set by the sheriff, the Apache Kid (who poses as Jim, a cowhand) takes on the romantic problems of Ted Conway. Informed by King Conway that Ted is not really his son but rather an orphan picked up on the plains after an Indian attack, Wilson rejects Ted's request to marry his daughter, Jane, and accepts King's offer to destroy Wilson's note and pay him a large sum of money in return for Jane's hand.
