SRP 2012 REVIEW: Loved this book! I thought the way it was written (from an autistic boy's point of view) was really believable and not at all forced. Descriptions and dialogue were superb! Especially liked the diagrams and footnotes included in the book.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: I have a child with Asperger's Syndrome and I really enjoyed Mark Haddon's book. He did a fabulous job of sharing the thoughts and thinking patterns of a child that lives on the Autism Spectrum.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: I absolutely LOVE this book! It is so well written and a joy to read. It is an adult book, but it is very easy to understand and an awesome story line!

SRP 2010 REVIEWS (2): #1) Loved that it was narrated by the main character who has aspergers syndrome. The author did a nice job conveying the condition. #2) This book is for those interested in autism but prefer fiction over non-fiction. Told completely from the perspective of a 15 year old autistic boy, this novel truly gives insight to the rest of us on the logic and thinking process of austistic people. Haddon provides the reader with information that goes beyond what an encyclopedia could offer, the book has heart, honesty and puts the reader through a journey, rooting for the young teen the whole time.
