Set in the backdrop of the Durga Puja in Kolkata, Kahaani is the tale of a pregnant woman Vidya Bagchi in search of her missing husband. Just like the city Kolkata, there are many twists and turns in Vidya's quest, wherein nothing is what it seems and danger lurks in every corner.
