Summary |
Antoine has made up his mind to escape to the coast on the first morning train. With only a few euros in his pocket, he does not have enough to pay for his ticket. An entire night lies before him to collect the required sum for his adventure, as his wanderings lead him to unexpected events, dictated by accidental encounters, accompanied by his awkwardness and dissatisfaction. Shot in black and white on the streets of Paris, first time director Tommy Weber makes the most of a convincing cast in a film which was inspired by François Truffaut’s classic film The 400 Blows. "*The neo-Nouvelle Vague “Sleepless Night In Paris” is Andrew Bujalski-meets-Leos Carax by way of François Truffaut’s “The 400 Blows*”— ***New City Films*** |
