SRP 2012 REVIEW: Initially, I was not particularly fond of the first book in the Ex Machina series. It was difficult for me to relate to the characters, and there was a little too much violence for my liking. Toward the end, though, I appreciated the clever full circles in the plot and character development, even if I could not relate to the protagonist.
