SRP 2012 REVIEW: We listened to this book on CD while driving on vacation. It's a sweet story about a junior high age girl who tries out for her school's baseball team, as the only girl. Her father recently died and this factors in to much of the story. It can be slow moving, but would be interesting to young junior high age kids.

SRP 2012 REVIEW: I liked that this book had a sport that the main character played throughout the story, but it wasn't really all about the sport(baseball). Like the whole story was really about her relationship with friends and others. I did find this book a little slow in the beginning, though.
