Summary 'Green Tea' is one of Le Fanu's best-known tales. The novella, first published in 1872, the tale explores an uncanny dimension of terror. Le Fanu is generally regarded as the "Father of the Victorian Ghost Story" and may have inspired fellow Irish novelist Bram Stoker.
