| Summary |
An ordinary farmer's morning routine is interrupted by a grim discovery in the middle of his cornfield: a pile of dead bodies. He reports the massacre but--fearful of a public scandal affecting the ongoing elections--the authorities stall and intimidate the farmer and his family. A scathing-yet-amusing look at the callousness and corruption that can cause a local government to trouble the very people it's intended to serve and protect. |
