| Summary |
Paddy Considine returns as the Jonathan 'Jack' Whicher, the pioneering 19th-century detective, now working as a private inquiry agent, having left Scotland Yard under a dark cloud. In the third instalment of the series, Whicher is hired by his former political master, a distinguished and powerful grandee, Sir Edward Shore, to investigate threats that have been made against his son Charles.
