SRP 2010 REVIEWS (2): #1) I thought this book was a very moving story about a school shooting from the point of view of the shooter's girlfriend. #2) I absolutley loved this book and its superb messages about moving on and figuring out who you really are! This novel also helped me reflect on the way I think of people and to watch what I say! This novel tells the story of Valerie who's boyfriend went on a shooting rampage in her school. Valerie tried to stop the shooting but was shot in the process injuring her but saving another girls life! Valerie's boyfriend shoots himself after he shot Valerie. Valerie now out of the hospital must return to the same school to finish out her seinor year dealing with guilt, pain, moving on, figuring out who she really is and what she should be defined by!
