Summary |
Adapted from the controversial novel by Vladimir Nabokov. In 1947, Humbert Humbert, a professor of French literature, travels to the United States to take a teaching position in New Hampshire. He rents a room in the home of widow Charlotte Haze, but Humbert Humbert carries the wound of lost love from his youth, and quickly becomes infatuated with her adolescent daughter Dolores. |
