Quickly ostracized from Hollywood, Eisenstein wandered south of the border where he began filming a highly stylized documentary on the people and volatile social climate of Mexico. Unfortunately, a lack of funds prohibited the film's completion and the famed director was unable to edit the film. In 1979, by referring to Eisenstein's extensive notes and sketches, Grigoriy Alexandrov assembled the most definitive version of the film. 538 Mode of access: World Wide Web. 650 0 Motion pictures. 650 0 Documentary films. 655 7 Documentary films.|2lcgft 700 1 Eisenstein, Sergei,|efilm director. 700 1 Aleksandrov, Grigoriy,|eactor. 700 1 Bondarchuk, Sergey,|eactor. 710 2 Kino Lorber (Firm),|4dst 710 2 Kanopy (Firm),|4dst 856 40 |uhttps://naperville.kanopy.com/node/5318554|zAvailable on Kanopy 856 42 |zCover Image|uhttps://www.kanopy.com/node/5318554/ external-image
