Summary Takes place in the sleepy New Mexico town where a UFO supposedly crash-landed in 1947. We meet best friends Liz and Maria, who juggle their high school studies with work in the Crashdown Cafe. Critically wounded in a shooting, Liz is miraculously healed by Max, a fellow student and secret admirer. He, his sister Isabel, and friend Michael are somehow different from the town's other teens: they are the progeny of the aliens who crash-landed in Roswell, born after decades spent in hidden incubation pods ejected from the doomed craft.
