SRP 2010 REVIEWS (4): #1) A different viewpoint of the events of World War II. Based on a true story, we see the events that lead up to Helmuth's capture and execution at the hands of the Nazis. How did a seemingly ordinary German schoolboy come to such an awful end? #2) Usually you read stories about jews, but this book is the otherway around. People in Germany also disliked Hitler and suffered. #3) I really liked this book, mostly because I like Holocaust books. This one was interesting because it showed that not all of the Germans were happy about Hitler being in charge. If you liked this book I think that you would also like Yellow Star witch is a super easy Holocaust book to read. #4) I thought it was very good because it had a lot of good details to provide the main point. The book was also really sad. Helmuth gave his life just to protest. You could have learned a lesson from this book too.
