| Summary |
The discovery of an invasive insect species threatens Bill Wright's logging business, so Wright murders a forest ranger to keep him from reporting his findings. Local hunter Gene Autry, who had been nearby shooting at a mountain lion, thinks he may have been responsible for the ranger's death and takes over his job out of a sense of duty. When the local townspeople blame Autry for the death of the local wildlife, Gene suspects a strange plane that's been flying overhead at night. Autry and his sidekick, Joe Lucas, suspect Wright and his men, but will Autry be able to get the bad guys and save the forest before it's too late? |
