SRP 2010 REVIEWS (3): #1) A little slower than her other books, but good. #2) This was a thought provoking book - very interesting, first-person commentary of living during the Siege of Leningrad, tied together with the contemporary lives of the survivor's children. Only failing was the ending - I thought is was a little far-fetched. #3) It was truly a great novel. Spanning a family from Russia during the time of Stalin to the present day, it was truly a remarkable story. One of the best novels I have read in a very long time.
