Decision making is one of the most important factors of your professional life, and it’s a process that starts with parsing the information you have—what you can trust, and what is disinformation. In this audio-only course, Brian Friedrich and Laura Friedrich explore risk areas where information and messages can be presented to deceive us, and how we can fool ourselves because of our own implicit biases. They discuss the importance of professional skepticism as a key element of meeting professional ethical principles, and how it fits into your obligations as CPAs within the Code of Professional Conduct.
