SRP 2013 REVIEW: The sparse, distance prose adds to the sense of destruction and nothing, allowing the novel to be both horrifying and horrifyingly gripping. The first line is memorable and masterful, sticking in one's mind and giving a hint of the novel's thesis. A read that flows easily, making the book hard to put down.
