SRP 2013 REVIEW: This book is about a boy named Will and most of his family dies by the Civil War. He is forced to live with Aunt Ella, Meg, and Uncle Jed-a traitor. The story continues with Will not accepting Jed as his uncle. Soon he gets a letter from Dr.Martin (the person who takes Will to his relatives) saying that he can come back to Winchester where all his friends are and he doesn't need to work on a farm like he does when he lives with Jed. Will Will go back to Winchester, leaving his family?
